PRESTIGE RANKS

RANK HIERARCHY
Special Roles sit at the 1st Company level in the prestige hierarchy when it comes to voting for the next Leader
SPECIAL ROLES
Special roles represent key figures within a Chapter. Each has unique requirements and grants certain privileges and obligations.
Important Note: If a member of a Chapter passes the test for a specific Special Role, it will cost extra if another member of that Chapter wants to take that same Special Role again. This does not apply to different roles — for example, having one Chaplain and one Apothecary costs the normal fee for each, but having a second Chaplain costs more because the Chapter already has one. The second position of the same Special Role costs the normal fee plus 10 Botis, the third plus 20 Botis, and so on. If a member fails the test, they will still pay only the normal fee if they try again, since they do not yet hold that role.
CHAPLAIN
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Chaplains are moral leaders who maintain discipline and morale within the Chapter. They enforce server rules and ensure respectful behavior among members.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Member must hold the rank of BATTLE-BROTHER or higher
- Must have earned the trust of high-ranking members through actions and dedication
- Should have a good reputation and a clean record on this server
- Requires Chapter Master's or Leader's approval
- Must pass the Chaplain Test
- Chapter must pay 30 Botis test fee
SPECIAL LOYALTY OATH:
Once appointed as a Chaplain, members must swear absolute loyalty and cannot leave or switch Chapters. Leaving results in losing the role and the Imperium's trust.
CHAPLAIN TEST DETAILS:
The Chaplain Test evaluates your discipline, fairness, and decision-making ability in enforcing server rules. You will be presented with scenarios involving rule violations and must demonstrate your knowledge of the Chaplain as well
- Knowledge of server rules and appropriate enforcement
- Ability to handle disputes fairly and impartially
- Communication skills needed to maintain order
- Judgment in handling different severity levels of infractions
The test is conducted by server administrators and existing Chaplains.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generates 2.5 Botis per week for your Chapter
- Authority to enforce server rules and issue warnings
- Ability to timeout members for misconduct and report it
- Expected to keep the server respectful and enjoyable for all
- Must report rule violations and de-escalate conversations that get out of hand
- Serve as moral leaders and uphold server standards
AVAILABILITY:
A new Chaplain slot becomes available for every 100 total server members.
LIBRARIAN
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Librarians are the keepers of knowledge and lore. They possess extensive Warhammer 40k knowledge, help members understand it. They also contribute to the server's lore development.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Member must hold the rank of BATTLE-BROTHER or higher
- Must demonstrate lore expertise by providing assistance in text channels
- Must offer valuable insights into the Warhammer 40k universe
- Requires Chapter Master's or Leader's approval
- Must pass the Psykros Test
- Chapter must pay 20 Botis test fee
LIBRARIAN TEST DETAILS:
Members must successfully complete the knowledge test "Psykros" to be granted the title of Librarian. The test examines:
- Questions about the extensive lore of 40k that true lore experts can answer.
- Very quick responses required
The test is administered by server moderators and existing Librarians.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generates 2 Botis per week for your Chapter
- Often chosen for Deathwatch missions with higher chance of leading the team
- Receives special lore-related assignments from High Ranks
- Must provide deep Warhammer 40k knowledge to help members
- Acces to special channels and resources
- The organization of the server
AVAILABILITY:
A new Librarian slot becomes available for every 100 total server members.
APOTHECARY
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Apothecaries are skilled artists or musicians who take on creative tasks and support the Imperium with their designs or music. They also provide mentoring and feedback to help improve others' artistic or musical skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Member must hold the rank of BATTLE-BROTHER or higher
- Requires Chapter Master's or Leader's approval
- Must be a good and talented artist (drawing) or musician (theme composition)
- Must pass the Apothecary Test (drawing or music)
- Must have won at least one art-event (only required for artists, not musicians)
- Chapter must pay 20 Botis test fee
APOTHECARY TEST DETAILS:
The Apothecary Test evaluates your creative abilities through either a drawing or music challenge:
- For Artists (Drawing Test): You must successfully replicate a specific image with precision
- The test evaluates your patience and attention to detail
- You must complete the drawing within a specified time frame
- The drawing is evaluated by the High Lord
- For Musicians (Theme Test): You must create a specific theme based on given guidelines
- You must submit a WIP (Work in Progress) version to show your process
- The test evaluates originality, atmosphere, and technical skill
- The final theme is evaluated by the High Lord
BENEFITS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generates 2 Botis per week for your Chapter
- Provide mentoring and feedback to help improve others artistic or musical skills
AVAILABILITY:
A new Apothecary slot becomes available for every 70 total server members.
TECHMARINE
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Techmarines are the technological backbone of the server, dedicated to enhancing BOTI and resolving technical issues. They bring innovation through coding, design, and other digital skills that support and improve the server's infrastructure.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Member must hold the rank of BATTLE-BROTHER or higher
- Must have technical skills that contribute to BOTI's improvement (e.g., coding, design, automation, etc.)
- Must have earned the trust of the High Lord
- Requires approval from a Chapter Master or Leader
- Chapter must pay 30 Botis after successful recognition by the High Lord
TECHMARINE TEST DETAILS:
- The applicant must successfully present a practical and useful technical contribution for the server
- The proposed solution will be evaluated by the High Lord and existing Techmarines
- The contribution must prove to be useful and applicable to the server's functionality
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generates 2.5 Botis per week for their Chapter
- Receives special technical assignments from High Ranks
- Gains access to a private channel and internal information about the server's future
- Assists with technical issues and suggests new improvements
- Maintains server efficiency through digital tools and innovation
AVAILABILITY:
A new Techmarine slot becomes available for every 70 total server members.
ANCIENT
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Ancients are the honored standard-bearers of BOTI. Through powerful and creative videos, they spread the name of the server across the stars, bringing in new Aspirants and growing the community. Their work represents the strength and unity of BOTI.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Member must hold the rank of BATTLE-BROTHER or higher
- Must have advanced video editing skills (e.g., cutting, effects)
- Must have earned the trust of the High Lord
- Requires approval from a Chapter Master or Leader
- Chapter must pay 30 Botis for the Test
ANCIENT TEST DETAILS:
- The applicant must create a specific Video (Short) for Mirkzmans Channel
- The video will be reviewed by the High Lord and current Ancients
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generates 2 Botis per week for their Chapter
- Produces regular videos (trailers, highlights, events, lore)
- Coordinates with the High Lord for future media projects
- Promotes the server’s presence through media on the channels
- Gains access to a private Ancient channel for planning and creative discussions
AVAILABILITY:
A new Ancient slot becomes available for every 80 total server members.
EXTRA ROLES
LEADER
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Leader role serves as the temporary Chapter leader until a Chapter Master is appointed. The Leader has full authority over Chapter resources and decisions.
HOW TO OBTAIN:
The Leader role is assigned based on these criteria:
- Automatically given to the highest-ranking member in the Chapter
- If multiple members share the highest rank, a monthly vote is held
- The winner of the vote serves as Leader for the next month
- The role remains until a Chapter Master is appointed
POWERS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete control over Chapter Botis spending
- Authority to approve Special Role tests
- Ability to represent the Chapter in server-wide events
- Responsible for Chapter growth and member retention
- Must make decisions that benefit the Chapter as a whole
VOTING PROCESS:
When multiple members share the highest rank:
- The voting is always done at the end of the month
- All Chapter members may cast a single vote
- Candidates may present their vision for the Chapter's direction
- The member with the most votes becomes Leader on the 1st day of the next month
- In case of a tie, server administrators make the final decision
DEATHWATCH
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Deathwatch is an elite organization that recruits members from all chapters to complete specific missions for BOTI. (Available missions are displayed in the missions channel on the server)
HOW TO OBTAIN:
The Deathwatch role is temporary and mission-based:
- Apply for a Deathwatch operation in the "#missions" channel
- Acceptance is based on your rank, experience, and mission requirements
- The role is granted for the duration of the operation only
- Once the mission is complete, the role is removed
BENEFITS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Access to exclusive Deathwatch operation channels
- Opportunity to collaborate with members from other Chapters
- Earn Botis and XP for completing a mission succesfully (rewards are displayed in the missions channel)
- Must actively participate in all phases of the operation
- Required to follow specific mission protocols and commands
CHAMPION
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Champions are Chapter members who have proven their valor in server events. They represent their Chapter's might and contribute to its prestige.
HOW TO OBTAIN:
The Champion role is earned through event victories:
- Win at least 3 Events to qualify for Champion status
- The member with the most Event victories in their Chapter holds the title
- If another member exceeds your victory count, the title transfers to them
- Event victories are tracked automatically by server administrators
ULTIMATE CHAMPION:
The highest honor among Champions:
- The Champion with the most total Event wins across all Chapters
- Generates 3 Botis per week for their Chapter
- Receives special recognition
- If multiple members have the same number of event victories, there will be no Ultimate Champion until one has more than the others
